Submissions:

Atomic Unicorn accepts poetry, a whole world of net.art and video art. All submissions must contain "Submission" in the subject line of the e mail, or else they will be deleted by the filters I've built. If you have need to submit in some other form, please contact me first. If you have not done this, and you don't follow the guidelines for submission I will delete the e mail without even thinking twice about it. Neither of us want that. While we're on the bad news, sorry, I can't pay you. Not a cent.

Submissions are accepted always. If you want to be in the Winter Issue, you need to submit between May 1st and November 1st. The rest of the time, you'll end up in the Spring Issue.

Specific Guidelines:

For Poems:

PLEASE NOTE: EFFECTIVE UPON THE PUBLISHING OF ISSUE 3 IN SPRING 2009, ATOMIC UNICORN WILL NO LONGER ACCEPT POETRY

Submit no fewer than 3 and no more than 5 poems, attached as a single rich text (.rtf) document. We do not accept previously published work. We will accept simultaneous submissions, however, please be nice enough to let us know if something has been accepted somewhere else.

For net.art of All Sorts, and Video Art:
Submit a URL which can be followed to view the hypertext work.

For other new media artists, who feel their work doesn't fit in the above categories, but still thinks it may be appropriate, follow the above guidelines, and include a line or two explaining how your work should be classified.

All submissions should be e mailed to: submissions@atomicunicorn.com

Atomic Unicorn reserves the right to maintain a web archive of all published work, and to distribute published work, in the context of the issue in which it was published, on optical discs. The artist retains all other rights.

If your work is accepted, you will be invited to become a contributor on Wiktomic, the Atomic Unicorn wiki. Here, we will be attempting to build a reference and common vocabulary, which will hopefully serve more than just the domain and project, a larger community. I'm still working out how it will fit together. You'll at least get to put up a bio, and whatever feels like it might be relevant, however you choose to interpret relevant.

We welcome artists who we have published to submit to us again, however, we ask that they please skip at least one issue before sending us another submission. Thank you.
